Jason isn't even my favourite Jason

So yeah one more thing, Jason isn't even my favourite Jason. Jason is.

Apart from the girls Jason smashes obvs.

Anways, this is my favourite Jason.

Thats on Gary Payton. GARY PAYTON. THE GLOVE. Lloyd remember how we copped those Gary Payton shoes you had?

Elbow pass?

Ok so the NBA season is over

As far as I'm concerned the Thunder won. Kev & Russ have their rings. I'm gutted there's not gonna be any more games, I could really do with a game tonight but hey ho.

Anyway, just cos the season is over, doesn't mean the Lebron bashing has ended. So.....

First of all Michael Beasleys dad is up. With what he tweeted about his son being traded:

Then Lebrons mate got crammed on. Pretty bad. Check Lebrons face..

Then.. Lebron got crammed on himself. Badly. Like put in a poster. He's hanging in kids bedrooms all over London, Africa and Chicago right now:

114148268CC006_Miami_Heat_v

Then, Basketball Jones ran the now infamous Lebron James Headband Timeline. It goes something like this:

Year: 2003
Exposed forehead height: 3/4 inch
Estimated headband angle, relative to eyebrows: 5 degrees

Year: 2005
Exposed forehead height: 1.6 inches
Estimated headband angle, relative to eyebrows: 12 degrees

Year: 2006
Exposed forehead height: 2.5 inches
Estimated headband angle, relative to eyebrows: 27 degrees

Year: 2007
Exposed forehead height: 2.25 inches
Estimated headband angle, relative to eyebrows: 24 degrees

Year: 2008
Exposed forehead height: 3 inches
Estimated headband angle, relative to eyebrows: 34 degrees (in honor of Paul Pierce)

Year: 2009
Exposed forehead height: 3.2 inches
Estimated headband angle, relative to eyebrows: 37 degrees

Year: 2011 (via Jose3030)
Exposed forehead height: 4.22 inches
Estimated headband angle, relative to eyebrows: 47 degrees

Then Cavs fans started pushing these t shirts in case the Heat got to the finals to play the Mavs:

Then... the bashing stopped for a second and Scottie Pippen decided he wanted to be in the media. So he stopped bashing Boozer and came out saying Mike was the greatest scorer but Lebron was the best player.

Then.. the NBA's all time leading scorer decided put Bum Boy Scottie in his place and write an open letter to Scottie. He gave this to the LA Times:

Dear Scottie,

I have nothing but respect for you my friend as an athlete and knowledgeable basketball mind. But you are way off in your assessment of who is the greatest player of all time and the greatest scorer of all time. Your comments are off because of your limited perspective. You obviously never saw Wilt Chamberlain play who undoubtedly was the greatest scorer this game has ever known. When did MJ ever average 50.4 points per game plus 25.7 rebounds? (Wilt in the 1962 season when blocked shot statistics were not kept). We will never accurately know how many shots Wilt blocked. Oh, by the way in 1967 and 68, Wilt was a league leader in assists. Did MJ ever score 100 points in a game? How many times did MJ score more than 60 points in a game? MJ led the league in scoring in consecutive seasons for 10 years but he did this in an NBA that eventually expanded into 30 teams vs. when Wilt played and there were only 8 teams….

In terms of winning, Michael excelled as both an emotional and scoring leader but Bill Russell’s Celtics won eight consecutive NBA Championships. Bill’s rebounding average per game is over 22.5 lifetime, MJs best rebounding years was eight per game (1989).… Bill played on a total of 11 championship teams and as you very well know, Scottie, the ring is the thing, and everything else is just statistics. So I would advise you to do a little homework before crowning Michael or LeBron with the title of best ever. As dominant as he is, LeBron has yet to win a championship. I must say that it looks like Miami has finally put the team together that will change that circumstance. Its my hope that today’s players get a better perspective on exactly what has been done in this league in the days of yore.

Affectionately,

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar,
NBA’s All-Time Leading Scorer

*I wonder if Kareems new movie is on Netflix... hmmm

Don't even let me get into the whole Mike vs Lebron thing. I would destroy Scottie in a debate. He's talking about God there. Anyways.. then this video came out and I got all warm and fuzzy again:

Antonio says Mike couldn't cut it in the NBA now at 50. I know different. When Me and MJ were chilling in the lobby of the Park Plaza I could see it. I could see it his eyes. HE WOULD FUCK LEBRON UP.

Anyways, I leave you with a qoute from Glen Rice talking about performing in the playoffs against Chicago:

"It's hard to score in the playoffs when you are playing at home and your own fans are shouting 'MJ! MJ! MJ! MJ!'"

Word.

Dirk NoMISSski

He may have the dopest one legged jumper in the history of the L

He still looks like a dog with his head out of a car window.

Grange Gardens highlights

Top 3 Highlights from Grange Gardens tonight:

3) Seeing Dai and him blanking us

2) Antonio, when throwing a cricket ball back to some kids, missing a hole the size of two garage doors and managing to bury their ball in a bush. After getting stuck in himself, he gave up and left 3 Asian kids in full robes climb in.

1) Timmy was guarding Aaron on the baseline. When he drifted up a little, Aaron cut baseline. I hit Ray Quin with a pass like Magic in his prime. Timmy was pissed and *being completely serious* Screamed at Antonio - "TELL ME WHEN MY FUCKING MAN IS CUTTING!" Antonio was standing on the free throw line defending the ball. Too funny.

Saturday Update - Where we at

Just a quick update on what's going on.

Our KB ledger is stranded in a building just outside the City Centre, so as of today we can't figure out what our finances look like. But this is top priority so we can start planning the immediate future.

Timmy is sorting out insurance and CRB's so we should be able to start training this week @ St.Mellons. This should give you guys an idea of what it's like, where it is etc etc and should help to make some decisions going forward.

Mal has the hookup for uniforms so we need to find out if it's cheaper to buy extra kits of our additional uniform or buy a whole new set.

Our new Website is taking shape and should be ready to be revealed soon.

At the moment.. it looks as though our roster for next season will be:

Mikey H
Timmy C
Lloydy D
Omar Z
Yoaan P
Wes G
Mal N
Dai M
Mitch R
Fung C
Antonio B
Aaron F

Don't think I've missed anyone. Text you all as soon as I know some shit.

Oh and Timmy is up twenty bones. Hate the Heat.

Fan of The Clipse, Religion or Reading?

KB's best shooters?

Want to know who led KB in three pointers this season? Of course you do. It was Mikey Holifield with 17.

He also led KB with a free throw shooting percentage of 58%. Weezy shared that percentage.

The lowest FT percentage? Might not be who you expected..

Timmy & Ryan Davies level pegging on 25%...

All time leaders coming to a KB hall of fame website near you... soon!

Chuck provides Chuckles

A few days after that Chuck post, Sir Charles does it again.

Miami Heat fans don't like him much owing to him pointing out their flaws all season, berating Wade and Lebron for joining forces and calling them "whiny". So at an outside broadcast at game 3 some of the fans were shouting abuse at him. He gave them the finger, then they threw stuff at him. The video is on YouTube. But the story doesn't end there, this is what Chuck said about the incident on WQAM Radio... Classic:

"They were telling me I suck. They were telling me I never won a Championship, like come on, give me something better than that dude."

"I always laugh at the statement 'You didn't get a ring'. I'm like, dude, you work at McDonalds! My life's a lot better than yours. You relax"

This is my Wes Unseld jersey

(google him)

She's one of my favourite possessions. I bought her from NBA City in Orlando about 8 years ago for $450.

Seems like allot, but I love her like fat kids - and adults in St.Mellons - love cake.

So when I saw this video.. I nearly spat my load. If you have ever bought a jersey.. you need to see this. Check the Pippen All Star Jersey. Semi.

Drool.

Anyways, KB Music got dropped to speed the site up. So here's what I listened to while bringing you this little gem:

I'm not a Kanye fan but GOOD Fridays was crazy (who else just chills in the studio with Jay, Curtis Mayfield, RZA, Pusha T, Keri Hilson, Lupe, Cudi, Raekwon, Swizzy, Dwele, Mos Def, Common and Charlie Wilson?) - My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy was pretty epic. Anyways, I digress, you get the idea.

If you haven't had the e mail, hit me up.

I'm off over the bridge, I'll get at you all on the weekend.. In the meantime, enjoy some quotes from the original Hangover in preparation for Thursdays Mass Exodus to the cinema for the most anticipated movie of the last two years...

Alan: "Next week's no good for me. The Jonas Brothers are in town."

Alan: "Tigers love pepper. They hate cinnamon."

Stu Price: You are literally too stupid to insult.
Alan Garner: Thank you

Stu Price: Here's something I would like to remind you two of: our best friend Doug is probably face down in a ditch right now with a meth head butt-fucking his corpse!
Alan Garner: That's highly unlikely.

Officer Franklin: Not you, fat Jesus

Alan Garner: I have a question. You probably get this a lot, but this isn't the real Caesar's Palace, is it?

Stu Price: Oh my God, I can't believe I gave away my grandmother's Holocaust ring to a complete stranger.
Alan Garner: I didn't even know they gave out rings during the Holocaust.

Stu Price: You do know counting cards is illegal, right?
Alan Garner: Counting cards isn't illegal. It's frowned upon... like masturbating on an airplane.
Phil Wenneck: I'm pretty sure that's illegal too.
Alan Garner: Maybe since 9/11 when everyone got so damn sensitive. Thanks a lot Bin Laden!

Alan Garner: We're a wolf pack of four, wandering the desert, searching for strippers and cocaine

Alan Garner: Hey, Phil, look.
[laughs hysterically while miming the baby masturbating]
Alan Garner: He's jackin' his little weenis.
Phil Wenneck: Pull yourself together, bro.
Alan Garner: [stops the baby] Not at the table, Carlos

Alan Garner: [while picking up Phil at the school where he works] Did you have to park so close?
Doug Billings: Yeah, what's wrong?
Alan Garner: I shouldn't be here.
Doug Billings: Why is that, Alan?
Alan Garner: I'm not supposed to be within two hundred feet of a school... or a Chuck E. Cheese

Phil Wenneck: [while driving a squad car on the sidewalk and using the loudspeaker] Ma'am, in the leopard dress, you have an amazing rack.
[to himself]
Phil Wenneck: I should have been a fucking cop

Alan Garner: It was a real pleasure meeting you.
Melissa: Fuck off!
Alan Garner: I'm thinking about getting my bartender's license.
Melissa: Suck my dick.
Alan Garner: No, thank you

Alan Garner: Do you know if the hotel is pager friendly?
Lisa: What do you mean?
Alan Garner: I'm not getting a sig' on my beeper.
Lisa: I'm not sure.
Alan Garner: Is there a payphone bank? Buncha payphones? Business.
Lisa: Umm, there's a phone in your room...
Alan Garner: That'll work

Woman in Elevator: [looks at the baby] Oh, how cute. What's his name?
Phil Wenneck: Ben.
Alan Garner: Carlos

Alan Garner: Doug, I want you to know I'm a steel trap. No matter what happens tonight, I will never, ever, ever speak a word of it.
Doug Billings: Thanks, Alan. I don't really think that's necessary but...
Alan Garner: Seriously, I don't care what happens. I don't care if we kill someone.
Doug Billings: What?
Alan Garner: You heard me. It's Sin City. I won't tell a soul

Old Timer at Gas Station: [commenting on the Mercedes as Alan is pumping the gas] This is a sweet ride you got here.
Alan Garner: Don't touch it. Don't even look at it. Don't look at me either.
[the old man walks away]
Alan Garner: That's right. You better walk on. I'll hit an old man in public

Alan Garner: What if Doug's dead? I can't afford to lose somebody close to me again, it hurts too much. I was so upset when my grandpa died.
Phil Wenneck: How'd he die?
Alan Garner: World War II.
Phil Wenneck: Died in battle?
Alan Garner: No, he was skiing in Vermont, it was just during World War II.

Kip: I said come down here and see what happens if you try and hit me.

NAPOLEAN DYNAMITE FIRST LOOK TRAILER

Each to their own..

Followers of an evangelical broadcaster who declared that Saturday would be Judgement Day are trying to make sense of the failed prediction.

Some believers expressed bewilderment or said it was a test from God of their faith, after the day passed without event.

Meanwhile, the evangelist at the centre of the claim, Harold Camping, has not been seen since before the deadline.

He had predicted that Jesus Christ would return to earth on Saturday.

True believers would then be swept up, or "raptured", to heaven, he had pronounced.

The 89-year-old has used broadcasts on a Christian network and billboards to publicise his ideas as part of a campaign that went global.

He said biblical texts indicated that a giant earthquake on Saturday - which he said would begin at 1800 at various time zones around the world - would mark the start of the world's destruction, and that by 21 October all non-believers will be dead.

'Some scepticism'
Robert Fitzpatrick, a retired transportation agency worker in New York, said he had spent more than $140,000 (£86,000) of his savings on advertisements in the run-up to 21 May to publicise the prediction.

After 1800 passed and nothing had happened, he said: "I do not understand why... I do not understand why nothing has happened."

"I can't tell you what I feel right now. Obviously, I haven't understood it correctly because we're still here."

Sunday came with no sign of the apocalypse
Other followers said they had had their doubts about the prediction.

"I had some scepticism but I was trying to push the scepticism away because I believe in God," said Keith Bauer, who travelled 4,830km (3,000 miles), from Maryland to California, where Mr Camping's Family Radio is based, for the Rapture.

"I was hoping for it because I think heaven would be a lot better than this Earth," said Mr Bauer, a tractor-trailer driver, who took the week off work for the voyage.

Other followers said the delay was a further test from God to persevere in their faith.

'No Plan B'
US media reported that there has been no sign of Mr Camping since the prediction turned out to be false, while calls and e-mails to Mr Camping's Family Radio went unanswered on Saturday.

The Washington Post reported that suicide prevention hotlines were set up in case believers fell into depression after the apocalypse failed to happen.

A group from the Calvary Bible Church in Milpitas, California, organised a Sunday morning service to comfort believers in Mr Camping's preaching, the New York Times reported.

"We are here because we care about these people," the newspaper quoted James Bynum, a church deacon, as saying. "It's easy to mock them. But you can go kick puppies, too. But why?"

Many Christian groups however dismissed Mr Camping's ideas, with some describing him as a "false prophet".

US atheists held parties to celebrate the failed prediction, while a group of non-believers gathered outside Mr Camping's Family Radio International headquarters in Oakland, California, as the deadline passed.

"It was probably one of the saddest things that I'd ever read, the idea that there's kids out there whose parents spent their college savings funds, who sold their homes," one woman told the BBC.

Earlier, Mr Camping has said he knew "without any shadow of a doubt" that "judgement day" was arriving, and said there was no "Plan B".

He has predicted an apocalypse once before, in 1994, though followers now say that only referred to an intermediary stage.

You need to watch this video

This video is currently doing the rounds as a metaphor for Russel Westbrooks on court decision making. Essentially the theory is that if Russel doesn't eat the marshmallow (take the jumper) he will be successful.

Watch the video - it's not about basketball, it's about life. I don't know all of you too well but I know we have a few eaters, and a few waiters in the club.

Heavy stuff.

One game does not maketh a fan

So although Timmy chooses not to watch his Miami Heat compete in the Conference Finals this doesn't make him a part time fan. To prove it, here he shows us his ticket from the 2004 game he went to watch:

226723_2031363899800_1115208237_32500371_6706156_n

Also, Timmy either thinks I look like Dirk (The Big Schnitzel - Dirk Diggler) or play like him, or love him. Not sure.. but he came up with this anyway..

It's the rapture bitches!

Since this may be my last blog post ever...

**********************
The world is due to end at 11pm tonight > It's the Rapture <

It turns out the theory comes down to two numerological proofs.
The first proof is based on Genesis 7:4, when God said to Noah: "Seven days from now I will send rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights, and I will wipe from the face of the earth every living creature I have made."
When God referred to seven days, he meant both seven days and seven thousand years, because "one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day." The flood occurred in 4990 BC. Seven thousand years later is 2011.

The second proof looks at the significance of the number of days between the Crucifixion and May 21, 2011.
There are 722,500 days between these dates. 722,500 is a significant number because it is composed of the significant numbers 5x10x17x5x10x17. Five signifies redemption; ten signifies completion; and 17 signifies heaven

**************

So yeah since this may be my last post ever I'm not going to comment on how frustrated I was with our defense last night (you know it's bad when a player whose team didn't lose for an hour and 45 minutes texts you after to tell you how poor his team played) - Instead i'm going to post some shoes and some Girls (on a positive however one person did play exceptionally on both ends - and yes Lloydy did text me before saying anyone on his team wasn't going to sit down).

Anyways... should we live through the rapture, this is the shoe that everybody

1)Over 22

or

2)Has played on concrete

or

3) Has suffered from bad knees/back

...should wear. Ive been through a bunch of shoes in my life and one that contains Shox and a Hyper upper is going to change your life. Seriously. Plus they look extra dope.

Taj Gibson goes big!

When I woke up on Monday with a phone full of texts I knew I had missed something. I knew before I even opened them because there was nothing smarmy from Tim.

This is what I missed.

TAJ GIBSON DUNKING OVER WADE VIDEO

Here's what Wade tweeted the next day:

In other news Shannon Brown tweeted that he wanted to clear up the fact that he never slept with Gasols chick. Got me wondering what she likes look.. wonder no more:

But I'm done with this Lakers thing now.. really. I'm with Magic.

THE BEST BLOG ENTRY EVER

(Mal - warm up that mouse of yours)

I love Sir Charles.

In fact the first nice ball shoes I bought were the CB34's. And my first jersey was a Phoenix Chuck Jersey.

*****Videos removed - go look chuck up on youtube*****

And I respect what he says.

He called his TNT producer a pussy on air.

He said:

On North Carolina missing 22 of its last 23 shots in losing to Georgetown in the NCAA tournament last weekend: "Stevie Wonder could make one of 23 shots

To Kenny: "Hakeem couldn't kick your ass cuz you were too close, kissin his!

Yao Ming makes Sean Bradley look like Bill Russell. You say he's gonna get 19 points in a game? Why dont you go without eating until he [Yao] gets 19 points in a game? You'll weigh about 12 pounds! When you said it, I thought you bet me he was gonna get 19 points in one WEEK, but you said he was gonna get 19 points in one GAME!

Kenny: "There's guys who go over to Europe and play overseas from America, and they dominate!"
Charles: "Those are called 'brothers'

Anyway, here's what Chuck said about The Heat this week:

Two fun facts for you:

1) Theres plenty more Chuck qoutes at the bottom of this entry
2) KB's biggest Heat fan bought a Thunder Jersey today

Ever since “The Decision,” the Miami Heat have been seen by many as the league’s biggest villains. However, Charles Barkley, who was no stranger to controversy as a player, thinks that the Heat have made things harder on themselves with the public by playing up an “us against the world” mentality too much this season:

“[The Heat players] say [the people in the media] don’t like the Miami Heat. First of all, that’s not true at all,” Barkley said. “Those guys are actually a whiny bunch. They said a couple times this year, ‘Well the world is happy the Miami Heat [is losing].’ Please don’t flatter yourself. C’mon man.

“We criticize [James] because of ‘The Decision.’ But nobody dislikes LeBron James. LeBron James is a good dude. But I love, ‘The Miami Heat is losing, the world is happy.’ First of all, nobody is thinking about the Miami Heat. You guys are good guys. You’re the guys who came out and said, ‘We’re not going to win 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 championships.’ We’re like, ‘Really.’ They never take any personal responsibility to why people take shots at them.”
Barkley went on to say that none of his criticism of the Heat was meant as a personal attack on LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh:

“If LeBron had just said, ‘Hey, you know what, I want to win more, I’m going to Miami.’ Nobody would have disliked that,” Barkley said. “I don’t know what that thing was when they came out on stage and said they were going to win seven championships.

“Those are the two things that annoyed people, but nobody dislikes Dwyane and LeBron and Chris Bosh. All three are good guys and terrific players.”
The Heat currently trail the Chicago Bulls by a game in the Eastern Conference Finals. If they lose on Wednesday and find themselves in a 2-0 hole to the team with the best record in the regular season, the Heat may not be around to criticize or praise for much longer anyways.

Ernie: What's the Knick's problem right now?

On supersized Oliver Miller: "You can't even jump high enough to touch the rim, unless they put a Big Mac on it."

I'd never buy my girl a watch... she's already got a clock over the stove.

Charles: "Yeah I regret we weren't on a higher floor"

I think that the team that wins game five will win the series. Unless we lose game five."

After Wang has a shot blocked: "He's got to bring something stronger than that. That's like bringing milk to a bar, it's not strong enough"

"We are in the business of kicking butt and business is very, very good."

When the Dream Team was about to play the Angola national team, during pre-game interviews the other USA players provided diplomatic, face saving comments about how they would play hard and felt strongly they would win. When Chuck was asked about Angola and the game, he replied: "They're in a lot of trouble."

Charles Barkley on his thoughts about retiring before the season: "I remember sitting down with the Rockets and saying, 'Yeah. I'm going to retire.' They said, 'Well, we'll give you $9 million.' And I said, 'You got a pen on you?'"

Reporter: Charles, how is your back feeling?
Charles: My back feels as bad as your face looks

While playing for the Suns and after a victory over the Rockets, the reporter asked "How did yall contain Olajuwon".
Charles: "We were all over him like that cheap suit you got

seeing Dirk play in Europe before he came to the NBA.
